The Mick Appleby Racing Club allows members to share in the ownership experience of a thoroughbred racehorse. Depending on your membership tier, you'll receive regular updates, yard access, race day privileges and in some tiers, a share of prize money.
We typically operate the club with 2–3 horses running under the club banner at any time. The specific horses are selected by Mick based on their suitability for the programme and their projected race schedules.
Owner tier members enjoy unlimited yard access by arrangement. Champion tier members receive 3 structured visits per year including a gallops morning. Gallop tier members receive 1 annual yard visit. All visits are arranged in advance with our racing manager.
Yes. To maintain the exclusive, personal nature of the club, we strictly limit membership numbers across all tiers. We recommend enquiring early as spaces — particularly at Owner tier — sell out quickly each season.
Absolutely not. Many of our members are completely new to racing. We guide you through everything — from how entries work to what happens on race day. Our team is always on hand to answer questions and explain the process.
